Dangerous Descent - Survival horror for NES

I continue to develop Dangerous Descent - Survival horror for NES.
In the new version (Demo DD 0.15), I updated the sprites of the main character (Rick Hatecraft) and the sprites of the basic zombie.
Changed some game mechanics, optimized some parts of the code, made small changes to the backgrounds.
In addition, I started developing a new level. It will be in isometric projection. In addition to the isometric camera, dynamic backgrounds will be used there.
The current state of the game can be seen on the video or download the current version for free.
I am ready to answer your questions and look forward to your ideas and criticism.
Thank you for your attention.

I love the artwork--particularly on the sprites. It looks different from the way that commercial NES games looked, and I applaud any effort to push the boundaries when we revisit old hardware. Keep it up!
Thanks for your feedback. :)
Yes, I also like the new sprites of the main character, they look very good for an NES.
Everything will look even more beautiful with isometric backgrounds. I'll show you a new level soon.
