Remake of the famous game Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion (1991) for NES

Hello everyone.

Famicom is my favorite console from my childhood, so I recently decided to learn how to develop a game for Famicom/NES.

To test my skills, I started porting the game Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion (1991) to Famicom. I chose this game because I also liked it as a child.

My game is not a direct port of the original. It implements survival horror and quest mechanics.

I was inspired by games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. And the story of the game is based on the mythology of Howard Lovecraft.

At this stage, the game is in the demo version. Only one full level is available now, but all the main mechanics are implemented.

The game includes the following mechanics:

•  Inspecting items
•  Interactive items (levers, etc.) 
• Hidden items 
• Animations 
• Riddle solving 
•  Key search  
• Etc.
